  Hi, I have never written a review before other than when I have been very satisfied with a company. I went to the UPS store to scan 15 pages to email to myself and was charged over $13. This simple act should cost $3 at most and the price was not given to me until after this was completed. The employees should tell the consumer upfront the costs of what a service will be before it is completed. I hope this is corrected in the future before other consumers are scammed. Thanks

  I brought in a 12 pound package 15"X8"X14" to be shipped ground rate(least expensive) this was a return of a defective product. When I was told the price $84.00 I said I wanted stop the transaction to go elsewhere(I had not paid yet) the owner told me I could not because she had already trimmed down the shipping box. First off the box was enormous compared to the package. I felt like I would be rude by not paying so I did. I returned a minute later to protest the refusal to stop the transaction. Bottom line They charged me $20.00 just for the box and Styrofoam peanuts. Thats what skewed the price, I believe the other charges were fair. When I left I called the closest UPS store and gave them exact weight and dimensions and destination from the ups receipt I have just received. They said they would charge $65 Total for the same package. Their rates are jacked and the female owner ( there is a male owner too, who is fun and friendly)was rude during, and even before, the disagreement. I have done business there many times and have always had a good experience. An hourly employee would have let me take my package elsewhere, considering I had not paid when I protested. I really just wanted to vent here. I'll never go back, but If you don't care what you pay, give them a shot. I went before because I liked the staff. There is a USPS less than a quarter mile away. I could have saved substantially going there. Word to the owner, If you don't like dealing with the public let the hourly' employees do it. If you can't afford that sell and go find something you can be happy doing.
